Nanotechnology ( ; NT
Nano Technology )
is close to the nanometer scale of one-billionth of a
meter atom, molecular techniques for synthesizing materials at small
units and the degree of supramolecular and assembly, control, or measurement,
identifying its nature Say. Most generalized definitions of nanotechnology
have been defined by the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) as a
technique for handling materials with sizes ranging from at least 1 to 100
nanometers, and generally between 1 and 100 nanometers in size. The technology
for a range of materials or objects is classified as
nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is widely used in various fields of science
such as Surface Science, Organic Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Semiconductor
Physics, and Microfabrication. . Nanotechnology could create new materials
and machines with a wide range of applications, such as medicine, electronics,
biomaterials energy production and consumer products, but could also cause many
problems. Thus, this concern has led to discussions between rights
advocacy groups and governments on whether or not special regulations in
nanotechnology are justified.
Scanning Probe Technology is the core technology on
which nanotechnology is based, and it is a technology that measures and
analyzes nanometer-level properties, structures and
components. Nano-measuring technology can be classified
into X-ray technology, electron / ion beam technology, infrared, Ultraviolet
light and visible light technology based
on the type of incident source with the recent
SPM technology . Since nano-measurement technology is huge
in scope, it is difficult to analyze and classify search in
total. Therefore, in this analysis, the surface shape, structure, and
physical and chemical properties of various thin
films relation to the semiconductor industry, where
Korea is showing strength compared to other countries, focusing on SPM
technology, which is the representative technology of nano measurement
technology. It is limited to several nano-measurement techniques that are
currently in use or that are expected to increase in the future. Also, as
nanotechnology is developed, it will be used in various fields such as
chemistry, physics, biology, geography, etc.
